From the 28th of August until the 2nd of September 2007, the local group Hamburg, had the great pleasure to offer all members of ESTIEM our amazing activity week. Twenty IEM students from all over Europe joined the fifth Hanseatic Days.
and seeing interesting things in “the most beautiful city of the world” (as the people from Hamburg say) was the agenda of our event.
For example we visited the famous St. Michaels church, the harbour, the “Holsten”-brewery and the notorious red-light-district on the “kiez”. We also had some professional parts like the visitation of a Vattenfall power plant or the Workshop with our consulting partner Arkwright.
The Highlight was the famous Arkwright-Boatparty on Saturday night. We were almost 45 ESTIEMers on one ship, going around five hours in the harbour. After this we went to the “Kiez” and then straight to the legendary fish market starting at 5 in the morning.
Again, the Hanseatic Days were a great success. All participants, helpers and organizers
had a lot of fun and a great time.
